Double Moss stitch

If you’re after a bit of texture in your knitting and want to get fancy, this is your chance. In this video I’ve used a chunky, smooth, wool yarn and most importantly a plain coloured yarn, to show off the combination of knit and purl stitches.

Have a go yourself, this is an ideal stitch to practice switching between knit and purl stitches. This maintains it shape no matter how large the piece and makes a thick, cosy fabric for a scarf, cowl or hat.

Coming soon, will be a group of patterns- including this pattern… watch this space (and follow my weekly emails with anticipation!)
