If you’ve ever stood in a wool shop surrounded by knitting needles and felt completely baffled this is the video for you.

I will guide you through the vast array of needles that I have accumulated over my years of knitting and suggest which needles might suit you for different reasons.

I’ll explain why my favourite needles earned pride of place in my knitting bag. Do let me know which needles you prefer and why.

If you'd like to learn more about the inside secrets of beginner knitting, take a look here at Knitting Mastery For Beginners.

You'll discover and embrace the foundation secrets, so learning to knit will feel joyful and motivating, rather than frustrating and tear-inducing! (yep - I've been there!)

  1. Hi Hannah. My favourite needles are Knit-pro Zing Circular needles either fixed interchangeable.

They are ideal for me, as I have Arthritis, and they are the most comfiest to use. I actually stopped knitting for several years after using long metal needles held under my arm.
Then I tried different makes of circular needles, but the Zing needles are the best, I prefer metal needles as the yarns glides along easily.

This has developed into a love of knitting small items especially top down baby cardigans.
It is only since last year I made a small triangular shawl and this too has become my 2nd favourite.

Sadly I cannot knit as much as I would like to due to Arthritis, but I still love knitting.

    Mary ?
