Knitting Rhythm – where did mine go?

Knitting needs a pace, but where is the beat?

When knitting I know there are different beats, long and slow.

There are phrases and pauses that seem to fit and become part of my knitting journey too.

It can feel disconcerting when knitting goes away for a time, for reasons outside your control, so when my knitting had to sit in a project bag for three months that's how I felt.

Disconcerted.

I wondered how it would return and wanted to encourage it. Here's the tale and rhythm of how it was always there, just hiding in the background, and how it reappeared, the same as always.
