5 Benefits of Knitting In Summer

It can feel too hot to knit in summer

But there are a good few reasons why I continue and also lessons I've learned over the years to keep my knitting projects going in the warmer months.

Some top tips can be to knit in the cooler times of day, for example in the early morning or later in the evening.

I also have a cooling fan (a great investment, so much better than a rotary desk fan) that keeps the temperature down in the house and lets me enjoy my creativity more regularly.

Also knitting with cooler yarns, such as bamboo, linen and cotton can be really supportive for your summer knitting habit. The cooler yarns can be easier to handle if your hands are slightly sweaty.
