As a new knitter you could find yourself with holes you didn’t mean to create, ? we’ve all been there! But this technique and extra stitch forms a hole in your fabric on purpose, which can be used for many different reasons.
The main reason is for increasing but also lace knitting, buttonholes, decorative stitches and creating eyelets.
