Perhaps you'll find it in shawl patterns when giving interesting flourishes to the edges. And this is a likely feature when giving bulk to knitted toys, Christmas ornaments and tea cosies. So it's well worth knowing! Wrapping and turning - also known as short rows - on the purl row doesn't give quite as clean a result as wrap and turn on a knit row. But with knitting we do the best we can and it definitely offers more to your knitting as you learn these extra techniques. To subscribe to the Knit With Hannah YouTube channel click here
