Introducing the Children’s Button Trapper knitting pattern, perfect for adventurous little ones aged 4-12!
Designed with comfort and playfulness in mind, this easy-to-knit hat features chunky yarn, garter stitch, and stocking stitch for a soft, snug fit.

With ear flaps to keep tiny ears warm and colourful buttons for a fun pop of personality, it’s a delightful project for knitters of all levels.

Available to knit in two sizes, with a third now included for teens to adults, so the whole family can enjoy matching hats!

This pattern is perfect for adding a splash of joy to your child’s winter wardrobe. Let your creativity shine as you knit up this vibrant, practical hat that kids will love!

Also an option is to upgrade the pattern to get a license to sell the finished pieces. If you’re looking to knit for profit this is the way to go. Licensed patterns mean you won’t have to design your own patterns, or add credit to labels and listings, or worry about creating your own cohesive collection – I’ve done that for you.

Designed to be knitted in Chunky yarn, also known as bulky or 12ply, these are some of the first patterns I created back in 2008 – 2016.

Sizes of finished hats:
Small hat 3-6yr,
Medium hat 7-12yr
Large hat, teen to adult

Included in Pattern:
Two versions of the digital pattern, one with full colour images to illustrate features, and a printable version with fewer photos and less colour.
QR codes and URL links leading you to an exclusive YouTube playlist with all the videos you need to knit this shawl.
