If you’re after a warm addition to your winter, and love the idea of short cosy knits with quick rewards, this Winter knit-along will be perfect.
You can enjoy the knitting these fingerless mitts for all the family as you’ll find multiple sizes of pattern.
Not only that, with 5mm needles and Aran weight Rowan Felted Tweed Aran Yarn, you’ll see them grow and be wearing them in the cold weather within a week or two.
Easy to pick up and fun to knit, the cable patterns gives not only a beautiful texture, but also extra thickness to the mitts.
And if you’re not sure about knitting cables, there’s  beginner plain mitts to give you some more confidence, and video tutorials with step-by-step guidance to knit up the cabled ones when you’re ready.
Knitted in Felted Tweed Aran, by Rowan, it’s a classic yarn that isn’t going anywhere, so this pattern is repeatable with many shades to match different occasions. It’s also ideal for gifting a few times as each pair of fingerless mitts can be individual and suited perfectly for the recipient.
Don’t need fingerless mitts for yourself? These mitts are exactly what you need to knit for all your friends and family for this winter and next!
Fingerless mitts always go down well, and as they’re knit-able in large and small (large, medium and small for the beginners plain ones) you’ll be filling the Christmas list before you know it.
