Join us to knit up a modern classic in the Spring 2023 Knit-Along

This garter stitch blanket knitted diagonally through four colours will warm your heart as well as your knees as you knit.

Corner-to-corner knitting is back in vogue, you’ll not want to miss this knitty-knowledge (it gives your knitting interest and motivation).

Knitted with 400g of Wool And The Gang Shiny Happy Cotton yarn, this blanket is an ideal size for multiple situations,

• for playtime on the sofa,
• swaddling,
• and covering baby in a car seat or buggy.

You’ll be knitting with a beautifully smooth Peruvian cotton, from sustainable sources. This washes well and will last many years for new babies in your life.
Cotton is an easily cared-for yarn to use for newborns, making it ideal for new parents to keep your knits in use and good as new.

We all have knitty-mishaps, no matter what we’re knitting.

You’ll find all the worries are lifted, with mistake-fixing videos specific to this knit. These will ensure you’re caught if ever you find a dropped stitch!

Also included is a pattern for using the left-overs to knit a colour-block beanie for newborn/3-months.

You’ll have learned the knitting techniques you need to knit through this hat, and can mix and match the length of stripes depending on how much of each colour you have left.

The Four Corners Baby Blanket knit-along is ideal for intermediate knitters or beginners with 2-3 months knitting experience.

If there’s a baby approaching, or you just love being ready for when there is, do join us for some community spirit and knit-along magic.

PLEASE NOTE:

You’ll be given access to the private knit-along forum and digital pattern when the doors open on 18th March 2023. This will provide access to the digital pattern and videos for your knit.

What to expect inside the Four Corners Baby Blanket knit-along:

You’ll be given access to over three weeks of conversation inside the Knit-Along community space on 18th March 2023. This forum includes comment topics and weekly knitting prompts to guide and support your knitting.

You’ll also be given access to video tutorials for the blanket, including repair tutorials for any mishaps you may encounter.

Hannah is inside the forum daily, to answer your questions, give support with knitty mishaps, and cheer you on as you knit through the blanket.
(one-to-one access to Hannah at this level isn’t currently available in any other form, so if you’ve been hoping to get some extra help and encouragement from Hannah with your knitting, now’s your chance!)

Photos can be posted, along with your comments and questions, so we can share in everyone’s knitting experience. You can be as sociable as you choose; as an introvert myself I love communicating in small bites, but you can log-in as many times as you like each day and let us know how your knitting is going.

How to join

Whether you pick the Four Corners Baby Blanket kit or pattern, you’ll be welcomed into the knit-along.

If you order a kit, your fabulous choice of yarn colour, along with the printed pattern, will be despatched from 1st March, (UK only).

If you choose just the digital pattern as you have the yarn easily accessible, the pattern will be available inside the Knit-Along community space. You’ll be given access Saturday 18th March.
