The knitted linen stitch is unique
Which ever way you look at it, no matter which yarn you use, the woven effect is stunning.
We’ll use the ‘slip stitch’ to create the weave with knit and purl stitches in-between. The finished piece will be create a thick fabric, unique in nature for knitting. So while linen is generally one of the thinner fabrics on the market, as you knit this stitch you’ll make something that has the look of linen, but not the density.
