Once you know this – it’ll be your go-to seaming technique 

It really is that good. It’s my go-to technique for finishing knits of all shapes and sizes.

Whether you’re seeming a jumper, a baby cardigan or a Christmas Hat like this one, it’s a fast and practical way to join the two sides.

And yes, as you can see it’s also called mattress stitch, just to confuse even more!
I will call it one or the other, or both in conversation. (yes I have conversations about seaming!) The two terms are interchangeable, but the technique is no different.
