Adding stitches in the middle of a row can be done with increasing techniques such as m1 (make one), kfb (knit front back) or yo if you'd like some holes along the way.
This is where we have to shift it up as you can't make one stitch become ten stitches using those methods. We have to start adding stitches to the end of a row with casting on techniques.
But which casting on method to use? There are literally hundreds of cast-ons documented.
I've tested a few and realised over the years that there are simple ways to do this. You don't have to make it complicated. I'll show you today how I recommend adding stitches to the end and beginnings of rows.
