Coming up with ideas for beginner knitting projects isn’t too tough. There’s lots of things that can be knitted.
I’ve got 10 first knitting project ideas for you today. And some of them you can knit over and over as you’ll want them in different sizes and colours.
Find your knitting needles and yarn… and let’s get knitty!

You get the gist!
Put some stitches on your needles and start knitting. It doesn’t matter whether you’re following anyone else’s rules, or following a ‘pattern’.
Stitches on needles = knitting!
Yes, just start practicing your knit stitch and you’ll find a purpose for what you create. You could end up with bookmarks, coasters (count the number of stitches on your needle and how many rows you knit, and knit a set of matching coasters!)
And remember it’s by practicing with these smaller knits that you’ll be better able to knit an evenly tensioned larger item sooner. You’ll be so proud of yourself!
By the way, it’s that time of year in Knit With Hannah and it’s not too late for you to join… time for a yarn stash declutter.
I’ll be right by your side with weekly emails and weekly live videos in the Knit With Hannah Facebook Group.
We had great fun last year, I do hope you can join us. 😀
